First case study — name and numbers withheld until the operator gives written consent to publish.
The structure below is the template every Shiftend case study follows. We don't ship a case study without all four sections filled with real, attributable numbers and a quote from the operator.
Before
Five tools, three spreadsheets, two browser tabs that wouldn't load on the office iPad. Labour cost was last week's number, the prime cost arrived monthly from the accountant, and the pre-shift was a group chat.
What changed
Shiftend ingested 18 months of Silverware exports and Push payroll. Pre-shift moved to the dashboard. Cert tracker caught two near-lapses in week one. Forecasting trained on the historical data and the GM started using the daily revenue prediction by week three.
Numbers
Labour % held against budget for the first time in six quarters. Prime cost ticked down — straddle splits stopped double-counting. Forecast MAPE stayed under [X]% on a walk-forward backtest. Onboarding time for new hires dropped from [Y] hours to [Z].
Quote
"Quote from the operator goes here. Direct, attributable, and signed off in writing — including which numbers can be published with the name attached."
